Born on the island of Faial, Marco Fraga Silva studied graphic design and cinema. 

When he was a teacher he developed his taste for the sequential art of comics and created an international comics contest for Portuguese-speaking countries. 

Nowadays, he is a Ph.D. student and he's developing the thesis "Transmedia Storytelling and Speculative Worldbuilding: Graphic Literature and Cinematographic Strategies in the Construction of a Transmedial Franchise".

"Chronicles of Time and Space - Uluru" is part of his doctoral project.
